LIVELY. HUMAN. COMPLEX.
Season Ticket ‘LEHEL’
At the opening concert of the Lehel Season Ticket Series, Domonkos Héja will be conducting one piece by each of the following two Russian composers: Igor Stravinsky and Sergei Rachmaninoff. Both pieces are closely connected to Russian folk traditions and beliefs and were written roughly at the same time in the early 1910s. These two pieces strive to depict the richness and complexity of life, yet – in musical terms – they are worlds apart.
