On 27 September 1884, Emperor Franz Joseph I inaugurated the Hungarian Royal Opera. In Ybl Miklós’s internationally admired masterpiece, compositions by the three “star” composers of the season – Wagner, Mozart, and Beethoven – celebrate the 141st anniversary of the OPERA.
