Gábor Andor pénzről, panamáról, szerelemről szóló, fergeteges komédiája éppen száz évvel ezelőtt született, de ma éppen olyan üde, friss, és elevenbe vágó, mint annak idején, 1917-ben volt. Az Amerikából hazatérő, milliomosnak hitt Dollárpapának csak két árva ezüstdollárosa van. Szerencse, hogy rokonai közt akad egy furfangos ügyvéd, aki a két ezüstdollárosból felvirágoztatja a magyar kisvárost. Hogy miként, az kiderül az előadásból, amelyet a múlt század húszas, harmincas évek slágerei tesznek mozgalmasabbá.
For the closing concert of the fifth Choral Celebration, taking place between 3 and 5 July 2026, the Let the Country Sing programme founded by Gábor Hollerung will on this occasion expand into an international project as an internationally assembled choir comes together to sing two of the most popular works in the choral repertoire.
The spectacular tournament of infantrymen and mounted knights - together with medieval dance and falconry shows - is held at the original tournament field of the royal palace with amazing performances featuring outstanding international participants. Come and be part of this real one-of-a-kind event which presents you and your family a very special blend of history, spectacle and fun!
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
