The Dresch Quartet has been playing in its current lineup for four years, and its founder, the highly acclaimed Mihály Dresch, has been a key figure in Hungarian music since the 1980s. This year he was awarded the Kossuth Prize. His band consistently and confidently treads its own unique path with an individual fusion of Hungarian folk music and African-American jazz, developed by the leader and the members. Kilencedik alkalommal rendezi meg nagyszabású jótékonysági gálaestjét a Színházi Dolgozók Szakszervezete (SzíDoSz) június 3-án a Vígszínházban. A cél idén is a nehéz helyzetbe került, egészségügyi okokból rászoruló színházi háttérdolgozók támogatása. Együtt a színpadért – amely nemcsak a segítségnyújtásról, hanem a színházi világ sokszínűségének és erejének ünnepléséről is szól.
Tena Štivičić kortárs horvát drámaíró 3tél című díjnyertes darabja igazi kelet-közép-európai történetet mutat be. Három idősíkon keresztül – 1945-ben, 1990-ben és 2011-ben – tárul fel a Kos-család több generációjának története, hogy e régi ház privát tereit miképpen töltik meg élettel, szeretettel és fájdalommal.
