Copenhagen nights are not only rainy, but dangerous as well. A serial killer stalks his prey. A curious motif links the murders: at the moment of crime, the same melody is always heard. The threads of the case lead to the melancholic cabaret singer Odette Margot, but this time the mistress of doom is herself in danger. Brilliant characterizations, goosebump moments and the eternal question: how far are we in control of ourselves? Sinister Nordic film noir from a female director, Bodil Ipsen, whose oeuvre had an impact on generations of filmmakers.
