In the BMW season, there is room for thematic concerts that pay tribute to composers of the season. First in the series, the soloists and the orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera present different facets of Wagner, with a programme ranging from an overture to a comic opera and masterpieces of Lieder to the best-known excerpt of his oeuvre, the first act of Die Walküre.
